As the Founder and CEO of New Reach Group, I bring over 15 years of experience in the supported accommodation and care sector. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with local authorities, social services, and a range of housing companies to develop and deliver high-quality, person-centred housing solutions. My passion lies in creating opportunities for vulnerable adults to live safely, independently, and with dignity. Through strong partnerships and a commitment to excellence, I’ve helped shape services that provide real stability and hope to those most in need. Leading New Reach Group allows me to continue this mission — building a team and organisation dedicated to transforming lives and setting new standards in supported living and care.
DAVID THOMPSON
Operations Manager
David Thompson, our Operations Manager, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to New Reach Group. With an extensive background in the housing and supported living sector, David has worked with respected organisations such as Focus Housing — which later became Midland Heart — gaining invaluable expertise in delivering high-quality housing and care solutions. His hands-on approach, strategic insight, and commitment to excellence ensure that our operations run smoothly and that the individuals we support receive the highest standard of service. David’s dedication to improving lives and strengthening community partnerships makes him an integral part of New Reach Group’s mission to provide safe, supportive, and empowering environments for all.
SHARINA THOMPSON
Registered Care Manager
Sharina Thompson – Registered Care Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health sector, Sharia brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to her role as Registered Care Manager at New Reach Group. Having worked extensively within the NHS, she has developed a deep understanding of complex care needs and the importance of person-centred support. Sharia is passionate about delivering high-quality, holistic care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing for every individual. Her professionalism and dedication make her an invaluable part of the New Reach team, ensuring our care standards remain exceptional across all services.

Support Services Coordinator​​
Mohammed brings over 25 years of experience in the mental health sector, including more than 20 years with Pathways Mental Health and extensive work within NHS secure units. His deep expertise in supporting individuals with complex needs, combined with a compassionate and person-centred approach, ensures that every resident receives tailored guidance and care. As Support Services Coordinator at New Reach Group, Mohammed plays a vital role in overseeing placements, developing support plans, and enhancing the wellbeing and independence of those we serve.
AJ JAHANGIR

Housing Support Officer
AJ brings extensive experience as a support worker, having spent many years working directly with vulnerable adults. He has collaborated closely with Birmingham City Council and other partner organisations to provide safe, stable, and person-centred housing solutions. In his role at New Reach Group, AJ will be leading a team of experienced support workers, ensuring that every resident receives the guidance, care, and empowerment they need to live independently in a secure and welcoming environment.

Partnership Manager
Stan brings nearly 60 years of business experience and a remarkable track record in leadership and community engagement. A successful entrepreneur and former Mayor of Solihull, he has extensive experience working with local councils and building strong, strategic partnerships. At New Reach Group, Stan leverages his wealth of knowledge to develop and strengthen collaborations with housing providers, the NHS, social services, and other key organisations, ensuring that our services are effective, sustainable, and make a real difference in the lives of the people we support

Compliance & Quality Officer
Abbas brings extensive experience working with registered providers and care companies, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. His expertise in monitoring, auditing, and implementing best practices helps New Reach Group maintain exceptional care and operational standards. Abbas is dedicated to supporting both our team and the people we serve, ensuring that every service we provide is safe, reliable, and of the highest quality

Gina brings a wealth of experience in human resources, having worked extensively both overseas and across the UK. With a proven track record in recruitment, staff development, and organisational management, she excels at building strong, motivated teams and fostering a positive workplace culture. As Head of HR at New Reach Group, Gina is dedicated to supporting our staff, ensuring continuous professional growth, and helping the organisation attract and retain the best talent to deliver outstanding care and support.”

Having faced homelessness, Jennifer’s journey is a true testament to resilience, determination, and the positive impact of person-centred support. Now, as our Resident Ambassador, she uses her experience to inspire others, provide insight to our team, and help shape services that empower residents to achieve independence and build brighter futures
